February 17, 2003 journal, a blizzard snowstorm in the Northeast cripples president's day. Said to be the snowstorm of a century with 2 foot fallen in Washington D.C. and a dozen deaths attributed to the storm. Airports are all closed and a white out exist for the golden strip between Washington and New York. 400,000 people are said to be out of power. I am sure that many are cold and suffering. High winds add to the destruction and misery. Here we have a blanket of ice and 15,000 homes without power in this frozen wonderland

of our second major winter freeze. Today the South Carolina Educational Television crew is scheduled to return to complete the interview and filming of my artwork. War protests continues as we single out Saddam Hussain to kill a half million of his people. I think that Saddam himself as merciless and brutal as he is has not killed near this many of his people.

Could we be worse than Saddam Hussain? I keep thinking this is a bad dream to go away. In Houston the nationally televised trial of Clara Harris concludes with a guilty verdict and she is on the Today Show with Katie Couric interviewing her as recorded before the trial. She has 20 years to serve and should of known not to run over her cheating husband with their Mercedes-Benz. Murder is still a capital crime in American for Americans except for doctors and the Pentagon. Of course the police also can murder and it is always justified.

It is an optional holiday for all the presidents of the United States. We do not worship our presidents because they are just human as we all. I used to think they were president due to their smarts but I learned that dummies can also make President. There is a holiday that is becoming more oppressive to observe and it borders on worshiping a person who was not President but seems to be more powerful than presidents. A president's criteria is to be

a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Illuminati ‘all seeing eye’ organization manifested on our dollar bill and the National Security Council. The Skull and Bones society is accepted as a Brother organization from Yale University. The Skull and Bones are said to worship skulls and bones as a ritual to Satan. Most of these organizations initiate their members by putting them naked into a casket and rebirthing them into their secret favored society of domination and leadership. This mimics the Christian religion in the term 'born again'. The symbols of the Book of Revelation are used by the Mason's and pictured in a book that is entitled "Secret Mysteries of the Ages". Mason's worship Osiris the sun god of Egypt and goes back to King Solomon taking Egyptian wives into the temple. It goes further back to the first Obelisk's now called Cleopatra's Needles that was carved out during the Israelites bondage in Egypt but not necessarily by the Israelites. This is what we painted about that stands today in Central Park in New York City and on the Thames River in London, UK.

This is what we painted about in the painting 'Idolatry', both in 2002. The worship of idols has long plagued God's people and is a lifestyle for a majority of the world including the church we hold so dear as Protestants. The Catholic Church is full of idolatry as is in the worship of Mary as Mother of Christ. They are now elevating Mary to an equal to Christ.

Elijah proved to the prophets of Baal that God Lives and that Baal is dead or is powerless

to sweep up the offering from the altar that was set out to prove the difference between the living and the false God. Let us beware of being trapped in idolatry or to the dollar or to the material things of this world. Let us worship God Almighty through Christ as our Lord. Let us pray and meditate and rejoice in the Lord our creator that knows all of us.

Let us give thanks to God for his unconditional mercy to us in creation and great vision.

Idolatry can be more than branded religious rituals in our daily lives and it’s a kind to the

addictions of body and spirit. Turn away from the world and commit your life to Christ.
