October 11, 2003 journal, opening reception for 'Revelation Now' in the State Museum. It has been raining for days and Norbert drove with me to Columbia leaving at 6:00 a.m. in the dark. We had a booth in the lobby of the Museum with a reception from 3 to 5:00.

The response was very great to the show and to the painting of the Book of Revelation 12 feet tall and 36 ft. wide acrylic on canvas showing the sky as rolling up from both sides of the painting and the Holy City, the New Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven, burning a path as it comes to rejoin the Garden of Eden. The four horsemen are coming from the left while Christ is coming from the right riding on a white horse with a 2 edged sword proceeding out of his mouth and clouds of saints following him on white horses. A table was set for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb and the saints of God were dancing on the sea of glass. The four beast of Revelation are shown above the top circle and the woman Israel standing on the moon clothed in the sun with 12 stars in her crown was shown on the left side also above the top circle. Two giant circles separated the activities on the painting. I very much appreciate the South Carolina State Museum for showing my artwork. People seem to go to the painting as soon as they entered the gallery, adults and children. You can see the painting from down the hallway before you enter the gallery. I still intend to draw coloring books beginning with the scenes in Revelation and let verses of scripture describe the colors. This is a great day of celebration for me to know that I have painted Biblical truth and prophecy that we see being fulfilled now in our daily lives. What a joy it is to fulfill God's purpose and to be as clay in his hands to be molded in the form of servant that he would have us to be and to serve him without hesitation always. If ever there were times when all people need to be educated in Biblical prophecy as we are seeing it being fulfilled before our eyes, it is today and should start with the children. There are many glorious and wonderful scenes along with the description of the wicked. Unfortunately the church at large avoids confronting this issue for fear to face reality. The people want to live in a dream world and imagine that everything is wonderful on this old wicked world and they will be totally unprepared for the coming of the Lord and for the sudden renewal of the earth. In a way the church is more as a protection for people to join and feel safe from God and the devil. The term church always requires an explanation as to what it really is. The living church of Christ the Lord is outside the steepled church and may have members that never darken the door of any church. The Antichrist church is the most popular so-called church of today and it is not limited to the Catholic Church which came up by of the ashes of Rome about 600ad falsely claiming the name of Christian and copying the pagan religions whatever was most popular with the people. They invented the idol "Mother Mary" about 800ad based on the demands of the people and they sold "indulgences" for hundreds of years and still claim to have power to forgive sin. People just want to be conned when it comes to religion. Joined at the head is the Mason Temple with the Catholic Church and the Shriners Hejaz Temple worshiping Allah of the Islamic Pagan faith. The roots of all these religions come from paganism including the obelisks and the church steeple. The pagans largely worship the reproductive organ and its symbol is recognizable in the erections seen from the graveyards to the Washington Monument. Who will dare raise any objection at least from the modern church and expose idolatry for what it really is in the Catholic Church and also in the Protestant church so dear to us. Let us discard the false covering of the church of this world and commit ourselves to the Lord God Almighty, the creator of the universe and all that live therein human and animal.
