January 28, 2008 journal, 60 Minutes report on mortgage dilemma houses worth nothing. A subdivision 80 miles east of San Francisco report houses with zero value and others at 70% of value. Many of these houses are abandoned and nobody knows who the owner is. You may say they are worth $1 but who will pay the utilities and taxes on them annually. What city will supply utilities to them if it is a ghost town? Check out report 60 Minutes. CEO of bankrupt Merrill Lynch has resigned and took with him $160 million reportedly. The housing crisis is worse than I ever imagined with no possible chance to ever recover. The second largest bank in Paris now reported to have lost $7 billion exceeding their net worth and the young trader arrested I believe as a scapegoat to blame for their disaster. The people of South Carolina have sent a message to Washington they do want to change the government loud and clear. The Democratic primary on Saturday turned out about 550,000 voters being double what it was 4 years ago and compared to 450,000 in the Republican primary one week earlier. In the 2 primaries about 1 million people voted. This is a surprise to the state and the nation although John McCain still supports the war. The people are saying war no more because they are hurting badly for income to live on. Ted Kennedy and family sure pre-empted the state of the nation propaganda speech to-night in their electrifying endorsement of Obama at the Washington University in D.C. Keith Olberman gave the state of the nation with the stock market still falling rapidly at 8:00 p.m. but then the president comes on from 9-10:00 p.m. with standing ovations after standing ovation for his phony speech in the buzzards roost in Washington annual. Immediately thereafter the news commentators defied everything he said and I approve that message. This country is sinking into quicksand. Nothing was said about the five soldiers killed in Iraq today or the Wall Street crisis where the stock market declined even more today. Nothing was said about the falling dollar or how to cure this dilemma. I can always say that Nero fiddled while Rome burned and this was a classic example. John McCain had a smiling face after the president recited his speech as favoring war. 75% of the American people are reported to believe this nation is headed in the wrong direction and I feel sure it is. What can we do but stand idly by and see it all collapse. The president ordered Congress to pass the eavesdropping bill without any debate at all. We are being led to the slaughter daily by the president and the scalawags in Congress. Tonight was like hearing the obituary for the United States of America and unrealistic. Even bigmouth radical Russ Limbaugh has become very critical of President's policies. It did not take government long to send out an e-mail saying Obama is radical Moslem. A reported e-mail was sent from a government computer today to thousands, maybe millions calling presidential candidate a radical Moslem after Kennedy's endorsement. The president failed the American people grossly in not telling them this government is on the verge of collapse with the dollar dying and the banks already dead especially after the mortgage crisis debacle and the stock market on a roller-coaster of total uncertainty. Those seated on the right applauded everything the scumbag said while those seated on the left set like zombies while his intentions was being revealed. The same old rhetoric. Pity he did not mention those 5 soldiers that died today or the real economic crisis, he makes it sound like something good when it is dreadful and he has no plans to save it. Without the dollar not one of those people will be there. The governor of Kansas spoke on behalf of the Democrats immediately after the bull shooting stopped and she was so realistic and such a breath of fresh air from all the mindboggling and weird hypocrisy.
