September 25, 2008 journal, McCain meeting with president fell apart in shouting match. McCain cancels his campaign & the debate in Mississippi but the debate will go on even without him. Harry Reid said that this is just McCain ducking out of his failing campaign. I thought that also yesterday when I heard it on public radio. Now they say McCain had nothing to say in his emergency meeting with the president & key members of Congress. Secretary Paulson was said to have "dropped to one knee" begging the Democrats to not tell the press that the Republicans have rejected this bailout plan. I am not at all surprised that Paulson wants to keep these affairs secret because they said he knew it would be the death of the bailout bill, that it would explode the tense situation into chaos as it did when the Republicans walked out on the meeting late night and Barney Frank announced it to the press saying there is no bill any longer. They cannot blame this one on the Democrats because the Republicans do not want to face their constituents after bailing out shysterist Wall Street when Wall Street created their own problem and when they have not helped one family keep their home. They say haste makes waste, it is no different for Congress. So tomorrow night I expect to see an empty chair in Mississippi because McCain is not physically or mentally able to appear and he has no answers for this big imploding mess. Why not leave it alone and let what happens happen. It is the job of the next president and administration to deal with if we have another president and administration to deal with it. I do not expect to see John McCain back in the race and Sarah Palin is falling apart with her disastrous interview on CBS News revealing her ignorance and inability. 1400 women appeared in a library parking lot in Anchorage protesting Sarah Palin as a reckless and inexperienced politician. In Alaska that's a lot of people protesting for sure. One protesting lady's sign said "I voted for Sarah Palin once but never again". McCain is campaigning on a bunch of lies and it is coming back already to haunt him. Therefore, he really cannot face the questions in the coming Mississippi national presidential debate. McCain is grounded because everything practically he has said has been proven a lie the same as everything George W. B*us*h has said has been proven to be a lie & multi lies. Why are we the people being railroaded into a quickie deal the same as we were in the war on Iraq deal whereby we have killed at least 1 million Iraqi people including women and children. I am glad the Pakistan's have sense enough to turn us around at the border. Will the people be paid back if this 700 billion saves Wall Street and they prosper? No! The government will out right buy their bad debt and dormant mortgages, the government will then resell them for a major loss of 50 to 95%. The loss will be liquidated and Wall Street will be free to reinvent another crisis loaning money 40 times the amount invested. This is a temporary fix for Wall Street even if they get what they ask for it will not last for long until they are back for more, much more. This cash out will not save the Wall Street banking industry from sudden death. They will parlay it a dozen times into a giant back door to empty the treasury of money we do not have. Anything they pass will be futile. The rats are leaving this sinking ship as we see in the Republicans opposing the bailout. Go-ahead and rearrange the chairs on the ivory deck of the mighty unsinkable Titanic.
